Ole Monterey Golf Club

201 Tinker Creek Lane, Roanoke, VA  24019

Ole Monterey has an association for women golfers of all skill levels.  The purpose of the Ole Monterey Women's Golf Association is to promote the following:

  • Interest in and enthusiasm for golf at beautiful Ole Monterey.

  • Participation in events at Ole Monterey as well as local women's tournaments.

  • Learning and honorably following the rules of golf.

  • Making new friends and enjoying close friendships with other members in the association and club.

Our ladies are proud to have one of the largest ladies' associations in the area.  Over the years our members have won many awards and have hosted several charity tournaments which have raised as much as $10,000 for worthy organizations.

In order to join the OMWGA (Ole Monterey Women's Golf Association) you must purchase the Ole Monterey Player's Card and pay a small fee to the OMWGA.  Once a member, you will be entitled to play in:

  • Ladies Day (Wednesday) events at Ole Monterey.

  • Local invitationals.

  • Roanoke Valley Women's Golf Association events.

The OMWGA league runs from April through September and we meet on Wednesdays.  The 18 hole group plays in the morning and the 9 hole group plays in the afternoon.

We encourage all ladies interested in having a blast both on and off the course to join us!

The Ole Monterey Player's Card is a great value for any golfer.  The 2020 price is $150 and the membership runs the entire calendar year (January 1 - December 31).  With this card, the player receives $9 off on weekdays and $10 off on weekends whether walking or riding, 9 or 18 holes.

Player's Card members also receive a 10% discount on items purchased in the pro shop excluding golf balls & range balls.  Player's Card members are invited to play in all club sponsored tournaments including the Member/Member and Club Championship.  Player's Card members also have the opportunity to qualify for the Ole Monterey Golf Club Hall of Fame team.

If you play 10 to 190 times per year you won't pay less for your golf in the Valley.
